Its a bird! Its a Plane! Its "Who-the-fuck-was-That" Man !

I swear. I am a Ghost. I have an incredible knack for not being remembered. I meet people, chat with them, joke with them and then when I see them again a week later they look at me like some odd stranger who must have studied up on their life using Google or something.

I've been told I look like a member of the mafia (you'd think that'd be memorable). A few times I even tried talking extra loud and pretending I had a nervous twitch. Nothing seems to work.

I'm not sure what to do next - maybe I'll pierce my forehead or something.

The other option of course is to learn to use this fact to my advantage. Being a ghost might not be so bad especially if I start using it to get away with stuff. Heck - I could be a superhero. No one would ever recognize me. Who was that unmasked man?!!

Now all I need are some superpowers.

Trivialities

Hmm.. no update in awhile. Ok.. so lets see.

1) Been sick this week and finally took today off. I think I have scabies or the creeping crud or something. Hopefully it will go away for like ever soon. Update: To all the people who wrote get-well wishes (hi mom!) I'm all better now. It wasn't scabies or anything either - doc said it was captain america syndrome (which totally explains the red-white-blue shield)

2) Hopefully going riding Sunday with Schteevo and his girlfriend Nikki on Sunday. Weather permitting (which it hasnt done a lot of lately).

3) UBG was up a few weekends ago. We had a blast catching up. (For those not in the know - "UBG" is short for "you big" - as in we perpetually refer to each other as "you big ..." followed by some new catch phrase - it used to be incredibly funny, now its rather habitual).

4) I figured out a reliable (albeit tedious) method to induce covariant methods in Java prior to version 1.5. So, you know, thats good.

5) I like Captain Kirk.

6) Mailinator is bouncing around the 21000th most popular website on the net. Not bad. That server just runs and runs unattended - its stunningly solid code (Sorry Steve, it has absolutely no unittests - I just got crazy lucky).

7) Of course, there is always Badgers

8) Funniest albeit a bit off-color thing I've read in awhile.
